Blake Lively's L.A. Face and Oakland Booty

Another celebrity social media firestorm has hit and this time it's surrounding American actress, Blake Lively. So here's the "famous" Instagram photo Blake posted a day ago to her 8 million fans with the caption "L.A. face with an Oakland booty". Seems harmless enough since everyone, and I mean pretty much everyone knows that those are the lyrics to a very popular Sir Mix-a-Lot song: "Baby Got Back".

So what's the big deal? Apparently Twitter went crazy over her Instagram post slamming the young actress for "racial undertones" and "cultural appropriation". People are going so far as to call her racist! She has over 8 million Instagram followers and this post alone has over 646,000 likes ... with over 25,000 comments of people arguing with one another about whether or not her post was racist. I think people need to relax and realize that not everything is racist, not everything is an attack, and there are way more important issues to be worked up about other than whether or not her "ass" is racist. Like Trump, seriously??

As long as Sir Mix-a-Lot is cool with it, we are too.
