Big Game Day Entertaining with Chef Jamie Gwen

The biggest game of the year is coming up and here are my game day picks for the best snacks:

Check out these delicious and convenient Game Day salad cups if you’re looking for a healthier tailgate snack. Using crispy bacon as the base, I stuffed half with Fresh Express’ French Blue Cheese Salad Kit for guests who prefer the taste of blue cheese with their bacon, and I filled the other half with the Fresh Express Smokehouse Chopped Salad Kit which features BBQ croutons, Gouda cheese and a smoked bacon dressing. Fresh Express salad kits are in the produce section of your grocery store. Click here for even more better-for-you Game Day recipes!

Another fan-favorite and game day staple - French onion dip. Dean's French Onion Dip has a creamy and smooth dairy-based texture with just the right balance of French Onion flavor. It's ready-made for a platter with chips and veggies and it's also a great topping on potatoes, burgers or sandwiches. Look for it in the refrigerated section of your grocery store and stock up before the Big Game. Click here to learn more.

Everyone loves pizza and here are a couple of ways to enjoy it:

Pizza Crisps from Sonoma Creamery deliver the taste of pizza in just one bite! The better-for-you snack from the California-based company is made with 100% real mozzarella cheese and packed with 13 grams of protein per serving. They come in three craveable flavors: Pepperoni, Tomato Basil and Veggie Supreme. They're delicoius on their own or with spreads and dips! Click here to learn more.

Now here's a twist on sheet-pan pizza - add garlic stuffed olives. They add a subtle garlic flavor to the sun-dried tomatoes and rosemary. You'll want a quality olive which is why I use and trust Pearls Specialties line of premium and imported gourmet olives from the sunny Mediterranean. Each olive is hand-picked and hand-stuffed with garlic or my favorite blue cheese and will level up any meal. Look for them in the sunny yellow package. Click here to learn more.
