As a chef, I’m all about easy but this Fourth of July is special so let’s make our celebrations easy and exceptional, shall we? In honor of our 250th anniversary, Welch’s has added a new flavor to their seasonal line-up, Sparkling Blueberry. Available for a limited time during the summer, it joins their Sparkling Strawberry and Sparkling White Grape flavors to create a red, white, and blue-inspired trio. Designed with easy entertaining in mind, it’s ready-to-serve, with light, fizzy, fruit-forward taste and no artificial flavors or sweeteners but it can also be mixed to create recipes like this Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade and Sparkling Blueberry Bourbon Smash. Welch's Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade Spritzer
Ingredients

Preparation:
- In a pitcher, mix lemonade with fresh blueberries and let it chill for abut 30 minutes.
- Right before serving, pour in Welch's Sparkling Blueberry and add ice.
- Serve in glasses with a lemon wheel garnish for a bright, citrusy finish.
Welch's Sparkling Blueberry Bourbon Smash
Ingredients

Preparation:
- In a shaker, muddle blueberries, lemon juice, syrup, and mint.
- Add bourbon and ice, shake lightly.
- Pour into a glass over crushed ice.
- Top with Welch's Sparkling Blueberry and garnish with mint.

July 4th Watermelon Centerpiece

When you scoop out your watermelons, whether with a melon baller or to cube it, use it as an edible vessel or use it as a vase. I just nestled a cup, or you can use a glass vase inside as well. Then, set a flower arrangement inside and I love that it's of the season!
July 4th Waffle Cone

I am serving everything in a waffle cone this year at my July 4th barbecue, it could be fresh berries or gummy candy for the kids. These are star marshmallows and dark chocolate for s'mores. You can snack on the cone while walking around, it doesn't get any better than that!
